The mayor of Sofia will make the first move of M-Tel Masters 2009

(Sofia, 12 May 2009) The mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov will make the first move of the international super chess tournament M-Tel Masters 2009. He will give the start to the game between Magnus Carlsen and Veselin Topalov at 16:00 local time on 13 May when the first round of the competition begins. The draw made by the super model Carmen Kaas decided that the other two pairs in the round will be Vassily Ivanchuk - Alexei Shirov and Yue Wang - Leinier Dominguez.

The fifth edition of M-Tel Masters is FIDE 21st category and will continue till 23 May.
