(Sofia, 13 May, 2009) The mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov made the first move of the fifth edition of the super chess tournament M-Tel Masters. He played d4 for Magnus Carlsen from Norway who is playing with the white pieces against the leader in the world ranking Veselin Topalov. The other pairs in the first round of the FIDE 21st category competition are Wang - Dominguez and Ivanchuk - Shirov.
