(Sofia, 17 May, 2009) The forward of PFC Levski Hristo Yovov wants a chess rematch with Topalov. The footballer also known as “The Jeweller” has requested a new chess game against the 19th World Champion. The two played in 2007 and the game ended draw. The new clash will take place immediately after the football derby on a small field between a selection of PFC Levski players and the participants in M_Tel Masters 2009 – Chess United.
The football game will start at 12:00 local time on 18 May at the Georgi Asparuhov stadium.
Hristo Yovov is considered as the best chess player among the football players in Bulgaria, but he will not take part in the derby against the Grandmasters because of an injury.
