(Sofia, 21 May, 2009) The President of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov is special guest of M-Tel Masters 2009 today. Mr. Ilyumzhinov made the first move of Leinier Dominguez in his game with white against Veselin Toaplov from the eight round of the competition. Before that the President of FIDE had a meeting with the board of directors of the chain Grand Slam, where the opportunities forcollaboration were discussed. During his stay in Sofia he also gave a press conference for the Bulgarian and foreign media covering the tournament.
